Respecting Your Gf and Your Family?

What are your thoughts on bringing your gf over to stay the night at your parents after a few Margaritas? My family is old fashioned so they viewed it in a negative way. I dont want to tell my gf cause I don't want her to feel embarrassed around them. What can I do to enjoy a late night evening with her without feeling obligated to make other people happy? Were both 21 to 22 in college.
